Welcome to UA TRASH!

You are about to become a part of UA history!

This is not about trash, nor about privatization.  It is about the right to vote ... something that we, as residents, were denied when the "Trash Ordinance" was passed as an emergency.  It's also about a City Council who is not responsive to us, the taxpayers who elected them.

This has got to stop.    

Running an initiative campaign is a lot of work.   You and your neighbors have spent literally thousands of volunteer hours holding rallies, writing articles and letters, and circulating the petition. And because of that, the "Solid Waste Initiative" is now on the November ballot.

It also takes money.  Money for ads, mailers, yard signs, bumper stickers ... you name it.

You can help in many ways!  Right now, we're taking donations to pay for the campaign efforts. In early September, after we know the issue number for the initiative, we'll have bumper stickers and yard signs available.
